Earth Mama Angel Baby Giveaway!

Happy Mama Hand to Toe WashHave you ever wondered what’s in your school’s soap? Detergents, toxins, pesticides? Odds are your kid’s school isn’t thinking about what’s in the soap; they’re lucky if they can get all those little runny nosed-kids to wash their hands at all. But that doesn’t mean you have to expose your kid to worrisome hand washes, harsh detergents or the tricky toxin of the moment, Triclosan. Did you know that newly released data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) finds that levels of triclosan in humans have increased by 50% since 2004? Triclosan is also shown to alter thyroid function, and other studies have found that due to its extensive use in consumer goods, triclosan and its metabolites are present in, fish, umbilical cord blood and human milk. Earth Mama makes it easy to avoid this toxic chemical with four soaps made with pure, clean, USDA Certified Made With Organic ingredients.
*
{They're offering 15% off the trial sizes right now!}
*
Find easy to stash sizes, from companies that you can trust. Tuck one of Earth Mama’s Earth Mama’s four pure, safe, travel-sized soaps into your kid’s or camper’s backpack and rest easy, knowing that even if you can’t protect them from every sneeze, you can know exactly what they are using to wash away the germs. All four soaps are certified organic and Triclosan-free, with no harsh detergents.
*
Earth Mama Angel Baby has generously offered to give away a free full-sized bottle in the scent of the winner's choice!
To enter: (leave 3 separate comments for 3 chances to win!)
1) leave a comment stating any Happy Mama Angel Baby product that you have tried or would like to try.
For a second entry:
2) "like" us on facebook here and leave a comment stating you did so (here on this post, not on fb!). Or, if you are already a fb fan, leave a comment stating that you are!

homemade yogurt

We have now added a 4th yogurt eater in our home and I started doing the math.....realizing I could easily spend $12-15 a WEEK just on yogurt. To the rescue: my friend Joy (a momtourage mommy!)who recently started this yummy food blog. Come to find out out...........you can make yogurt in a crockpot!
super simple.
super yummy.
super healthy.
super cheap.
do I need more reasons?

It was a little runny and I might dabble in using the geletin to thicken it. It definitely is not sweet, but it's super good and if needed, a tsp. of honey or jelly or some mixed-in fruit would probably do the trick! It certainly could not be easier (or cheaper!) to make. I'm a convert. =)

Rock Me!

I recently came across a children's clothing company called Rock Me! Started by 2 college friends, Anna & Nancy, Rock Me outfits are the classic romper in a modern twist without any snaps, buttons, or farm animals in sight!
 {I truly do hate all those characters that pop up on every piece of clothing.}
These one piece outfits are brilliantly designed to "rock on, rock off" and so easy & comfy to wear!
They were kind enough to send me sweet miss "heidi" which I promptly fell in love with. :)
Every outfit is completely designed, sourced, and manufactured in the USA!
My baby girl declared it to be one of her new favorites.
At least that was my interpretation of the cooing. =)
Go here to do a little shopping and to snag one of these beauties for yourself!
 (or add to Grandma's shopping list, wink*wink)
